I would like to order some
spare parts, but I'm not sure which parts suit my lamp. Can you
help me? |

Firstly, have a look at our
spare parts.
If this doesn't answer all your questions, then you can either
e-mail us for advice, or send your order detailing the model of
lamp you have, and describing the parts which need replacing. We
can then try to identify the exact parts needed for you. Note
that whatever parts you require, all parts are common to both of
our current models, M1B and M320, except for the glass (part no.
V60 for lamp model M1B (also for M1, M300 & M305), part no. V805
for lamp model M320) and frame.
If you have an older model of
lamp and require parts for a specific model (i.e. glass or
frame), then the replacement glass you will require is:
- Bialaddin 315 = Vapalux
M320 (part no.
V805)
- Bialaddin 300/300X =
Vapalux M1B (part no.
V60)
Please note that unfortunately
we no longer have any remaining stock of glass for Bialaddin
310. This is a specially blown version, unlike existing models,
which will no longer be available once existing stocks are
exhausted. However, we can supply glass for the existing models
with an adapter which should ensure compatibility with older
models.

What's the best way to fill
the spirit cup? |
|
We recommend that you use our
Spirit Can (part no. V2), although this is similar to many small
domestic oil cans.

I have a Tilley lamp no. 246
for which I require spare parts. Which Vapalux parts are
suitable? |
|
The only parts we are able to
offer for Tilley lamps at present are part no. T40 (Vaporizer)
and part no. T72 (spirit cup). These are similar to their
Vapalux equivalents, except they have been adapted to fit Tilley
lamp no. 246. for instance, the spirit cup is fixed, as on the
Vapalux lamp, not removable, as the original Tilley part was
(however, this does mean you shouldn't lose it!).

Do I have to pay tax on the
goods I order? |
|
We advertise our prices without
tax (VAT = value added tax), because whether we are obliged to
charge you VAT depends on where in the world you live.
For countries within the
European Union (including the United Kingdom), we must charge
you VAT at the United Kingdom rate (this is currently 17½%).
However, you have then paid all the tax you need to on the goods
you order, so that you will not be required to pay additional
VAT on the goods we send you in your own country.
If, however, you live outside
the European Union, you will not need to pay United Kingdom VAT.
We can therefore send you the goods exclusive of VAT, but you
will be required to pay any local taxes your government requests
when you receive the goods. This will usually be requested when
you take delivery of the goods.

drafts payable to Bairstow Brothers (1985) Ltd. Unfortunately we
do not have a credit card facility at present.

All new lamps are supplied
complete with operating instructions. But we do understand
your lamp might have been around for a while, so from here you
can download instructions for your Vapalux
